Words.

What are words? What do they mean to you? What kind of power does it have over someone’s feelings?

People say that the pen is mightier than the sword, those people are right. Words have a unique tendency to lift people when they are shrouded in utter darkness. That being said, words also have the same unique tendency to hurt someone so deep that it hurts much worse than getting stabbed by the sword. Especially when such a person is already so down to begin with. Words are capable of such things and they hold so much power yet they seem to be just what it is, just words. Something that one might think that it is insignificant but its not. The power to affect a person’s feelings with your words must never be taken lightly. Words can change someone’s life.

Some of us might not understand this now, but when the time comes, make sure that every time you see someone, a nice word or two can help them along the way. You’ll never know when will be the last time you see them.
